Psychotherapy Services
What do I need to know?
Psychotherapy is for people who are struggling with mental health challenges that are preventing them from functioning in their day to day life.
As a psychotherapist, I can diagnose and provide treatment for these challenges following California licensure law and ethics.
I work virtually with my clients through a confidential and HIPPA compliant telehealth platform.
I work with adults, teens, children, and families.
I do not offer in-person sessions at this time.
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist(#143653) in California, which means I am Clinically Supervised by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Kristin Green, LMF#T88720) who ensures I'm providing the best care possible and reviews my cases with me. In order to provide Psychotherapy to you, you need to meet the following:
Be physically located in California
Are eligible for telehealth treatment (this will be determined during our consultation)

What are your psychotherapy specialties?
Trauma Recovery - Helping clients regulate their nervous system and heal from traumatic experiences impacting their present day life.
Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress - These are often outcomes of trauma along the way. I work with clients to build skills, resolve symptoms, and leave the impact of the past behind.
Complex PTSD - The impact of many traumatic and difficult experiences over along period of time. I help clients break harmful patterns, heal fear and triggers, and becoming the person you want to be instead of the person you had to be to survive.
Parenting - Preventing and healing generational trauma, managing difficult behaviors, and building skills so your family experience the peace it deserves.
Kids & Teens - Helping kids and teens develop skills, improve mental health, and process difficult or traumatic experiences.
What kind of therapy do you do?
As a Depth Psychotherapist, I focus on the deeper subconscious wounds and behaviors driving our current suffering. I don't believe in band-aid solutions. The work I focus on gets to the root of the problem, so you aren't just managing symptoms your entire life.
I use a combination of Expressive Art Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients build skills and process trauma. My method does not require clients to talk about their traumatic experiences if they don't want to.
These methods are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and have been proven to do the following:
Improve nervous system regulation
Improve emotional regulation
Develop insight and perspective
Reprocess traumatic memories
Integrate trauma into the present
My Therapy Approach
Non-pathologizing & Trauma - Informed- I look at everything through a trauma-informed lense. I only use labels if you find them helpful, and work to help you understand how trauma has impacted you and how to heal forward.
Collaborative - I don't tell you what to do. We decide together what's best and how to move forward with your counseling.
Holistic - I look at the whole you - mind, body, and soul. Your bodymind is one unit, and I treat it as such in our work together.
Person-Centered - I don't believe in cookie-cutter solutions. You're a unique person with unique needs, which means we move at your pace, with a plan that's tailored to your specific needs.
