What are your psychotherapy specialties?

Trauma Recovery - Helping clients regulate their nervous system and heal from traumatic experiences impacting their present day life.

Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress - These are often outcomes of trauma along the way. I work with clients to build skills, resolve symptoms, and leave the impact of the past behind.

What kind of therapy do you do?

As a Depth Psychotherapist, I focus on the deeper subconscious wounds and behaviors driving our current suffering. I don't believe in band-aid solutions. The work I focus on gets to the root of the problem, so you aren't just managing symptoms your entire life.

I use a combination of Psychodynamic Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients build skills and process trauma. My method does not require clients to talk about their traumatic experiences if they don't want to.

These methods are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and have been proven to do the following:

  • Improve nervous system regulation

  • Improve emotional regulation

  • Develop insight and perspective

  • Reprocess traumatic memories

  • Integrate trauma into the present

My Therapy Approach

Non-pathologizing & Trauma - Informed- I look at everything through a trauma-informed lense. I only use labels if you find them helpful, and work to help you understand how trauma has impacted you and how to heal forward.

  1. Collaborative - I don't tell you what to do. We decide together what's best and how to move forward with your counseling.

  2. Holistic - I look at the whole you - mind, body, and soul. Your bodymind is one unit, and I treat it as such in our work together.

  3. Person-Centered - I don't believe in cookie-cutter solutions. You're a unique person with unique needs, which means we move at your pace, with a plan that's tailored to your specific needs.
